Cassandra Trimarco, Board Certified Physician Assistant

Cassandra Trimarco, Board Certified Physician Assistant, has been with our practice since August 2005 and is an integral member of the team at Island Vein Specialists. She supports our surgeon by providing history and physicals, pre- and post-operative care, as well as assists in all office procedures. In conjunction with our Board Certified Vascular Surgeon, Dr. John F. Gallagher, Cassandra has trained in various modalities of treatments for both varicose and spider veins on the legs as well as the face. Furthermore, she participates in all aspects of numerous vascular, cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures Cassandra has received advanced training in the art of administering injections such as sclerotherapy, Botox® Cosmetic and Juvederm®. Cassandra also performs most of our aesthetic services such as permanent hair reduction, photo-facials, outpatient chemical peels, skin care consultations and eyebrow shaping.

Cassandra graduated Cum Laude from Saint John’s University in Jamaica, Queens, with a Bachelor’s degree in Science. She then attended Physician Assistant School at Saint Anthony’s Nursing Institute and Allied Health Professions in Fresh Meadows, Queens, a division of St. John’s University. In addition to achieving Dean’s Honor List each year, she received the “Women in Math and Science” Award, a “Clinical Excellence” award upon graduation for having achieved the highest grade amongst her classmates and was asked to be an adjunct professor at Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY directly out of training.

Cassandra is an active member of several professional organizations including American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), New York State Society of Physician Assistants (NYSSPA), and the American Academy of Surgical Physician Assistants (AASPA).

Cassandra brings a sense of comfort and enthusiasm to the practice and maintains a sense of responsibility, professionalism, and dependability. Together with the staff of Island Vein Specialists, she provides the utmost patient care, a very calming bedside manner, and spectacular results.
